Different from a publisher

We may not be what you expect. The way we work is very different from that of a traditional publisher. A publisher gets about 250 scripts of which only 1 gets published. What makes is different is that we want to be there for ‘all’ authors. This also means we do not operate like a traditional publisher. We do not read all the manuscripts to make spelling, grammar and lay-out adaptations, we don’t require the author to print thousands of copies and we don’t do the marketing of the books. At ShopMyBook, the author is the publisher. With the ShopMyBook publishing service, the author self-publishes their own book and we guide them through the process so that in the end the book looks professional.

With ShopMyBook everyone can upload their own book the way he/she pleases. Every order is then printed-on-demand through our worldwide network of printers. It does not matter if it is only one book or fifty books.
