This is the story of a young South African boy (Thomas) who slips into a coma and without awareness of his condition continues to live in a surreal world - a world where he has to deal with poverty, family issues, love, heartache, discrimination and the search for his own identity and self-worth. Upon his journey Thomas encounters an odd old man who eventually leads Thomas to the truth of his existence - a climax that has Thomas committed to making the ultimate sacrifice.
